"Iran attacked us by relying on proxy forces, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. We will crush the Iranian axis of terror," Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a joint press conference with Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest, APA reports.
Netanyahu emphasized that they are facing attacks from Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, which are supported by Iran, and stated that the main threat is Iran itself.
The Prime Minister noted that Israel's actions are not limited to self-defense.
He stated that Israel is even protecting Europe: "This threat does not only affect us but also Europe and many of our neighbors in the Middle East. We are determined to act, and by doing so, we are also protecting Europe. Some countries in Europe may not fully understand this, but Viktor Orban does," the Israeli Prime Minister emphasized.
He added that Israel remains committed to bringing back all hostages, including efforts to free the Hungarian citizen held captive.
