Minister of National Security of Israel Itamar Ben Gvir told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reject a US-backed proposal for a ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon in an X post, calling it “a grave mistake,” APA reports.
"An agreement with Lebanon is a big mistake. A historic missed opportunity to eradicate Hezbollah. I understand all the constraints and reasons, and it is still a grave mistake," Itamar Ben Gvir noted.
He urged Netanyahu to “listen to the commanders fighting in the field… precisely now, when Hezbollah is beaten and longs for a ceasefire, it is forbidden to stop.”
“It’s not too late to stop this agreement,” he adds. “We must continue until absolute victory!”
