Palestinian families have reportedly been trapped in their homes for a week in the West Bank.
The incident occurred in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, Al Jazeera reported.
The Palestinian families were subsequently forced to leave their homes.
The Israeli military earlier said it had received reports of settlers entering Palestinian homes and land, describing such actions as illegal and unacceptable. It also announced that additional forces would be deployed to the area.
Qusra has been identified as one of the communities where tensions between Israeli settlers and Palestinians have intensified in recent months.
