Iran has presented a seven-day plan to the United States to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and the choice is now up to Washington, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said, Tasnim.
Araghchi noted that keeping the path of dialogue open is not a sign of weakness but a sense of responsibility.
"We have presented a seven-day plan to the United States through Qatar. We have stated that if the necessary conditions are met, the Strait of Hormuz could be reopened and maritime traffic could return to normal within seven days. Now, the choice is up to the United States," Araghchi emphasized.
