Iran has chosen the path of dialogue with the West to resolve its differences over the nuclear issue, but if the threat of sanctions continues, this issue will be reconsidered, said Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, APA reports.
He said that official Tehran is currently conducting an active dialogue in this direction.
According to the minister, there is no sufficient guarantee in his country that the discussions with the West will be successful: "Currently, this issue is being seriously discussed. The point is that the path we took in this area was not correct. Official Tehran fulfilled the demands of the West, but when it came to the lifting of sanctions, we did not see any steps taken by the West in this direction. If the UN Security Council imposes sanctions on our country, the nuclear issue will be reviewed again."
