Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed it carried out a ballistic missile strike targeting U.S. Air Force aircraft in Jordan, APA reports.
According to Iran's Tasnim news agency, citing an IRGC statement, the attack targeted U.S. military aircraft stationed at Aqaba Air Base.
The IRGC said the strike was aimed at a C-17 military transport aircraft and a P-8 maritime patrol aircraft.
The claim has not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate confirmation from U.S. or Jordanian authorities.
