All measures have been taken for the safety of the Turkish Servicemen in Afghanistan, said the minister Hulusi Akar in the meeting held regarding the situation in Afghanistan, APA reports citing the website of the Turkish Defense Ministry.
Chief of General Staff Yasar Guler and Air Force Commander Hasan Kuchukakyuz also attended the meeting held in a video-conference format under the leadership of National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. The Commander of the Turkish military unit in Afghanistan has informed Hulusi Akar about the current situation in Afghanistan.
Stressing that the safety of military personnel is the first priority in Kabul, the Defense Minister said that all necessary measures have been taken in this direction.
