Erdogan: We will grant medals to 55 thousand locals and foreigners who has shown sacrifice during the quake

“Due to the earthquakes, 311,000 buildings were damaged,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, APA reports.
According to him, 60 countries and international organizations dispatched nearly 250 thousand tents to the region.
"We know all rainy day friends," Erdogan said.
The President of Turkiye noted that more than 35,000 search and rescue teams served in the region: "We will give medals to 55,000 local and foreign people who made sacrifices during the earthquakes."
