China is willing to share data and cooperate with the World Health Organization (WHO) to help the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Health Commission's (NHC) spokesperson Mi Feng stated at a press conference on Tuesday, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
Mi stressed that the country had maintained virus-related cooperation with the WHO as well as other countries and promises to continue so. He added the Chinese officials and the WHO had two meetings recently, one on December 9 and another one on December 30, 2022, to discuss the situation and measures in the Far Eastern country.
His remarks came after the Foreign Ministry criticized the stricter measures for entry some countries imposed on Chinese citizens due to the COVID-19 pandemic, describing them as unreasonable.
