A Chinese ministry official born in 1984 is said to have signed an espionage agreement with the CIA in Japan after being recruited and trained by the local US embassy and CIA staff.
The individual returned to the People's Republic, meeting secretly with American spy agency officials and receiving payments in exchange for providing the US with sensitive information about China's government, according to the authorities in Beijing.
