Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao said on Friday that relations between the two countries are at an "important crossroads," APA reports citing Teletrader.
He added that China has "no intention" of considering Japan a rival or an opponent and that it hopes Japan has the same view.
Wu warned that China opposes "pushing" one country's system onto other countries. On the issue of Taiwan, he repeated China's stance that it hopes for a peaceful solution but does not rule out the use of force.
