United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a phone conversation with South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin talked about various issues ahead of his visit to China, APA reports citing Teletrader.
During the call, Blinken emphasized Washington's commitment to responsibly managing its relationship with Beijing and highlighted the importance of China using its influence to encourage meaningful diplomacy with North Korea.
The discussion also focused on the significance of sustained trilateral cooperation between the United States, South Korea and Japan "in advancing economic prosperity in the Indo-Pacific and in strengthening the rules-based international order," according to US State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller.
