"Türkiye does not want terrorists in Tel Rifat and Manbij," Ömer Çelik, spokesman for Türkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), said this during a press conference, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that the Bashar Assad government has handed over some territories to the terrorist organization:
"We will not allow the existence of any armed terrorist organization that would threaten our country within 30 kilometers (in Syrian territory - ed.). We have no problem with the territorial integrity of Syria."
Ömer Çelik emphasized that Ankara is not involved in the conflict in Syria and that the allegations in this regard are false.
