Speaking to reporters following a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte at the Beştepe Presidential Complex in the capital Ankara on Monday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his comments that he hoped for signing of Libya cease-fire agreement 'soon', APA reports citing Anews.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte called for a permanent ceasefire in Libya following a meeting in Istanbul on Monday.
"We are exerting efforts for the ceasefire to be permanent," Erdogan said in a televised press conference a day after a fragile truce was established.
He also pointed to that the talks between Turkish, Russian and Libyan delegations in Moscow were going positively.
Turkish leader also added that he would attend Libya summit in the German capital Berlin with Russia's Putin, Italy's Conte on Jan 19.
