Four civilians killed by gunmen in a Damascus’ suburb

Baku-APA. Four civilians were killed in the Damascus suburb of al-Qadam on Thursday, Syria’s official news agency SANA said Saturday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

Quoting police sources, SANA said unidentified gunmen opened fire indiscriminately at civilians in an attempt to terrorize people, killing instantly the four civilians and wounding a child.

It added that the gunmen fled the scene.

Meanwhile, security agents captured a member of an alleged terrorist group in the central province of Homs, and seized large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives, according to SANA.

The seized weapons include six hand-made bombs, two Kalashnikov rifles, three pistols and big quantities of ammunitions.

Also, engineering unit dismantled a explosive device in the northeastern city of Bukmal, said SANA, adding that the device was attached to a motorbike in a crowded street in the city.
