Two Kurdish rebels killed in northwestern Iran: TV

Baku-APA. Two Kurdish rebels were killed and one was injured by Iran’s security forces in northwestern Iran, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

Iranian security forces killed two rebels affiliated to the " terrorist group PJAK" and injured another in Iran’s northwestern town of Chaldran in West Azerbajan province on Friday, said the report.

The wounded person were taken away by his friends, the report said without further details or identifying the killed and the wounded people.

Western Iran witnessed regular armed clashes between security forces and Kurdish militant parties, in particular Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), an anti-Iran Kurdish group linked to Turkey’s outlawed Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK).
