Baku-APA. All four people on board a paramilitary helicopter have been killed after the aircraft crashed in India’s northwestern state of Rajasthan, APA reports quoting Press TV.

The helicopter, belonging to the Border Security Force (BSF), went down in the state’s hilly district of Sirohi at around 3:00 p.m. local time (0930 GMT) on Friday, DPA reported Saturday.

"All the occupants, comprising the pilot, a flight engineer and two BSF soldiers died in the accident," district official Sriram Meena said.

"The bodies were charred beyond recognition as the chopper was completely burnt in the crash," he added.

This was the fourth helicopter crash in India since last month.

On May 4, the wreckage of a helicopter carrying the chief minister of India’s Arunachal Pradesh state was spotted by search team.

The helicopter went missing on Saturday en route to Tawang from the state capital, Itanagar.

Four Indian military personnel were killed on April 22 after their helicopter crashed in northeast India.

The mishap occurred just three days after a Russian-built MI-17 helicopter, with 23 people on board, hit a wall and burst into flames as it was trying to land in the Buddhist pilgrimage town of Tawang near the border with China.
