Baku – APA. On November 23, Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet will give a concert at Heydar Aliyev Center for the first time.

Heydar Aliyev Center told APA that the works by world famous composers Mozart, Anton Reicha, Darius Milhaud and Carl Nielsen will be performed at the classical music night to be organized within the project of Heydar Aliyev Center for supporting culture and promoting world art in Azerbaijan.

 

Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet was founded in 1988. It is the first quintet that has been founded in the history of Berlin Philharmony. Members of 25-year-old quintet: Michael Hasel (flute), Andreas Wittmann (oboe), Walter Seyfarth (clarinet), Fergus McWilliam (horn) and Marion Reinhard (bassoon).

Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet that has amazed the whole world with its performance has given concerts in Europe, Australia, Israel, the Far East and South America. In addition, the quintet has performed at festivals in Berlin, Edinburgh, Salzburg and at the Quintette-Biennale Marseille.
