Azerbaijani artistâ€™s works to be dsiplayed in exhibition in the USA

Baku. Ulker Rashidgizi â€“ APA. Azerbaijani surrealist artist Mehriban Efendi was invited to particpate in the Gallery of "Art of the World" in the city of Muskegon, Michigan, the United States on August 24, 2012. Art works of 12 artists will be displayed in the exhibition, which will last until August 28. Mehriban Efendi was invited by the gallery due to a long-term cooperation and representation of her paintings.
This is the 3rd road show in the United States where Mehriban Efendi has participated for the summer of 2012. Amongst them are the international exhibition of â€œArt and Awarenessâ€ held in Montana which aim was to protect the rights of abused women
and the international exhibition "Art Takes Times Squareâ€ which was held in New York, on Broadway in huge electronic billboards in Manhattan sponsored and conducted by the American art organization of "Artists wanted".

Recently painting "Harmony" which was submitted for the competition to take part in the exhibition "Art Takes Time Square" according to the organization of "Artists Wanted" was chosen to be printed in the new book of "Art Takes Time Square" as one of the best art works of the year, amongst many submitted works by professional photographers, artists, sculptures and designers from all over the world.

The first personal exhibition of Mehriban Efendi in USA was in 2005 in Bigfork, Montana by the sponsorship of US citizen Tauni O’Brian.
