Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova – APA. Held outdoors on the National Mall in Washington, D.C, the annual Smithsonian Folklife Festival will take place for two weeks beginning June 27, 2012 to July 1, 2012 and July 4, 2012 through July 8, 2012.
According to Azerbaijan’s Karabagh Fund in US, Azerbaijan’s culture and traditions will be represented in the festival.
On July 4-8, sale of Azerbaijan’s culinary and national drinks will be organized.
Mugam evening will be held with the participation of Azerbaijani and American musicians.
Remind that, the organizers of the event are Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Karabagh Fund.
