Exhibition “Fly to Baku†supported by Heydar Aliyev Foundation to be opened in Paris

The idea of the exhibition belongs to vice president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. This is a successful exhibition of Azerbaijan’s contemporary art inspired by the junction of Eastern and Western cultures.
The first exhibition was opened at Phillips de Pury & Company Art Gallery in London on January 17 this year. The event is coordinated by well-known art consultant Herve Mikaeloff. The next exhibition is to be held in Paris at the workshop of Salomon de Rothschild.
The exhibition “Fly to Baku†is organized on the basis of interesting concept that covers the contemporary art of Azerbaijan, which is ancient and rich in traditions. To reflect unique image of the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku and rapidly developing modern Azerbaijan, the works by the artists of different generations - Agha Huseynov, Aida Mahmudova, Ali Hasanov, Altay Sadikhzade, Eliyar Alimirzayev, Anvar Asgarov, Faiq Ahmad, Fakhriyya Mammadova, Farid Rasulov, Huseyn Haqverdi, Irina Eldarova, Leyla Aliyeva, Mammad Mustafayev, Malik Agamalov, Mirnadir Zeynalov, Niyaz Najafov, Orkhan Huseynov, Rashad Alakbarov, Rashad Babayev, Sanan Alasgarov and Tora Agabeyova were exhibited there.
Along with revealing the depth and diversity of contemporary visual art of Azerbaijan, the authors of paintings, graphics, sculptures, installations, video arts, photo performances also demonstrate the capacity to preserve their brightness in the area of varied culture.
