Calendars with paintings of Togrul Narimanbekov have been published in Hungary

Baku â€“ APA. Hungarian-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, the only diaspora organization of our country in Budapest published traditional calendars in Azerbaijani and Hungarian language for year 2012. The calendars are devoted to one of our great painters â€“ Togrul Narimanbekov. His famous paintings, their names and painting years have been illustrated in each page, his biography and achievements have been written on the last page of calendar. Auto-portrait of painter, panorama of Baku, Azerbaijani meals, mugham trio, our tales, fruits and other national attributes have been described in these paintings. Published calendars have been distributed to government and non-government organizations, business entities, Azerbaijanis living and studying in Hungary. Hungarian-Azerbaijan Friendship Society has been functioning since 1994 with support of The State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora of Azerbaijan Republic and 90 % of the members of this society are Hungarians. The society aims to inform Hungarian community about Azerbaijan, its history, old traditions, national holidays, and success.
