Popular artist of USSR Zeynab Khanlarova celebrates 75th anniversary today - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Zeynab Khanlarova was born on December 28, 1936, in Baku and was the youngest of the familyâ€™s five children. In 1956, Zeynab Khanlarova graduated from Baku Pedagogical School named after M.A.Sabir. In 1961, she graduated from Baku Musical School named after Asaf Zeynally (S.I.Shushinskiâ€™s class) and became a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
Zenab Khanlarova played Leyliâ€™s part in â€œLeyli and Majnunâ€ opera, Asliâ€™s part in â€œAsli and Karamâ€ opera of Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Arabzangiâ€™s part in Magomayevâ€™s â€œShah Ismayilâ€ opera and others. Besides that, Zeynab Khanlarova successfully performed Azerbaijani musical style â€“ mugham. Zeynab Khanlarovaâ€™s voice can be heard in such mugham compositions as â€œShahnazâ€, â€œGatarâ€, â€œBayati Shirazâ€ and in many others. Zeynab Khanlarova achieved a great success in estrada genre of music. Khanlarovaâ€™s repertoire includes songs of such composers as Tofig Guliyev, Arif Malikov, Alekper Taghiyev, Emin Sabitoglu, Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov and many other famous composers.
Zeynab Khanlarova has been an artist of Azerbaijan Radio and Television Committee since 1958, prima soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater since 1961. She is the laureate of Azerbaijan SSRâ€™s State Prize, All-Union Prize of â€œGold Diskâ€. She is honorable citizen of Algeria and Uzbekistan. She was awarded with the title of honorary artist of Azerbaijan SSR in 1967, popular artists of Azerbaijan SSR in 1975, popular artists of USSR in 1980.
Zeynab Khanlarova was the deputy of Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan SSR (XI-XII convocations) and the National Assembly of Azerbaijan (I-III convocations), member of the parliamentâ€™s permanent commission on culture. She was awarded with the medals of Glory and Independence.
