The opening ceremony of the 2nd Gabala International Art Exhibition takes place - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Speaking at the opening ceremony of exibition on the theme "Art! Life! Earth!" the head of Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association SEBA Ruhangiz Heydarova noted that the event is an important element in the large-scale propaganda of Azerbaijani culture.

According to her, this year at this exhibition is attended more painters and sculptors from other states than in the past year. This is an indication of the growing interest to this exhibition,to Azerbaijan and to our national art. This event creates favorable conditions the strengthening of friendly and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and other countries, she said.

Speaking at the opening ceremony Heydar Aliyev Foundationâ€™s representative Elmir Bayramov, Peopleâ€™s Artist of USSR, Azerbaijan and Russia, Academician Salakhov Tahir, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan Li Chi Ha noted that the Gabala exhibition is an integral part of intercultural dialogue and expressed the hope that this celebration of fine arts would become a tradition.

The guests highly appreciated the work submitted by artists and sculptors, as well as the design of the exhibition. During the two-day exhibition of more works will be exhibited for sale.
The exhibition involved 116 artists and sculptors from Azerbaijan, U.S., Germany, Austria, Britain, France, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Korea, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, Japan, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey and Ukraine.
