Nobelsâ€™ activity in Azerbaijan exhibited at Sothebyâ€™s

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. A multimedia exhibition on the Nobels and their activity in Azerbaijan is held at Sothebyâ€™s in London, chief of the museum sector of the culture policy department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Azade Huseynova, who is in London, told APA that photos, art and digital works describing Nobel Brothersâ€™ activity in Azerbaijan were exhibited there.

This second showing of the exhibition in London is initiated and supported by The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS). The project was designed by Azade Huseynova, Naida Abbasova and Amina Malikova, The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Statoil-Absheron, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan also supported the project. Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United Kingdom Fakhraddin Gurbanov, founder of The European Azerbaijan Society Taleh Heydarov, chief of the museum sector of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Azade Huseynova, Ludwig Nobelâ€™s great grandson Gustav Nobel, representatives of SOCAR, Statoil, British community and others attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition will also be shown at the Nobel award ceremony in Stockholm in December.
