A short film about Azerbaijan will be shown in Washington DC

The festival will be held at the John Hopkins University, in the department of SAIS organization, festival organizers told APAâ€™s Washington DC correspondent.
The film â€œThe last Kankan of Nakhchivanâ€ about Azerbaijan was shot and directed in 2009 by Chaim Litewski, it lasts nine minutes.
It will be shown at 6.30 in the evening, March 22, among two other films â€“ Battle for the Xingu and American Outrage. The film speaks about water shortages around the world and shows Azerbaijanâ€™s way of solving the problem.
The film will be introduced by Margel Highet, Associate Director, Energy, Resources and Environment at the The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. Later a discussion with Jasmina Bojic, Founder and Executive Director, United Nations Association Film Festival will be followed up.
