Iranian director to make the country’s most expensive movie on Prophet Mohammad

Iranian famous director, Majid Majidi will make the most expensive movie in the history of Iran’s cinema about Prophet Mohammad, APA reports.Majid Majidi is to make a historical epic film about Prophet Mohammad. The movie with the cost of around 30 million dollars will be the most expensive and ambitious one in Iran’s history. The film’s pre-production period is being carried out and Majidi as well as the film’s producer, Mehdi Heidarian, are to screen it globally in mid 2011. Majidi has directed "Children of Heaven" and "The Song of Sparrows". The Iranian director and the screen-writer of the film which is to narrate the story of Prophet Mohammad, Kambozia Partovi, have written the screenplay in 3 years. The main topic of this movie will be Prophet Mohammad’s childhood before the age of 12 and his mission as a prophet. This movie will be supported by a good team of famous international historiographers and researchers. It will be shot in several countries.
