Azerbaijan marks Frederic Chopin â€“ 200

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Polish composer Frederic Chopinâ€™s 200the anniversary is marked in Azerbaijan. Polish embassy in Azerbaijan told APA Polish pianist Stanislaw Deja and Azerbaijani musicians will perform concerts at the Baku Academy of Music on March 2 and Azerbaijan National Philharmonic Hall on March 4.
The concert will be organized by the embassy of Poland and Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The anniversary events are sponsored by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Valuable Securities Factory of Poland, Azerbaijan National Philharmonic Hall, Baku Academy of Music and restaurant Parallel.
Polish Sejm declared 2010 a Year of Frederic Chopin. Azerbaijan established a honorary committee for Chopin Year in 2009. Representatives of the Polish embassy, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, Philharmonic Hall and Academy of Music are in the Committee.
