Exhibition of Tahir Salahovâ€™s art works in London

Baku-APA. Opening ceremony of the world-wide famous Azerbaijani artist Tahir Salahovâ€™s exhibition was held at famous Sotheby’s gallery in London by the organization of Buta Festival and support of Azerbaijani embassy in Great Britain. More than 30 art works describing the Azerbaijan life in different shades were being demonstrated at the exhibition titled â€œUnseen Salahovâ€, embassy told APA.

Accredited diplomatic representatives, British people who love art, representatives of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Russian community in this country, journalists attended the opening ceremony.

Chairman of Sotheby’s gallery Lord Poltimore expressed his satisfaction with the demonstration of art works of famous artist and spoke about acquaintance with art heritage of the country while on a visit to Azerbaijan. Ambassador Fakhraddin Gurbanov estimated this exhibition as an important event and said that culture is a bridge between nations.

Delivering a speech in the end, Tahir Salahov thanked organizers for the exhibition.

Exhibition will last till February 25.
