“America Through My Eyes†exhibit opened at the Azerbaijan Academy of Art

Baku. Victoria Dementyeva – APA. The opening ceremony of “America Through My Eyes†exhibit was held at the Azerbaijan Academy of Art on Wednesday. U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse addressed the ceremony, APA reports. From some 80 participants, three top winners and six runners-up were selected by a jury composed of Academy professors, U.S. Embassy representatives and an independent art expert. The top student artists were awarded with cash prizes and video cameras. Islam Hasanzade received the top prize for his work “Freedom Nestâ€. The exhibit will remain at the Academy’s gallery until the end of April.
