A virtual meeting is being planned between US and Iranian delegations with the aim of signing a peace agreement between the two countries, Al Hadath TV reports.
According to the report, US Vice President J.D. Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf are expected to participate in the meeting. Mediators are also reportedly set to take part in the talks.
According to the broadcaster, the parties are considering signing the text of a potential peace agreement in a virtual format. Discussions are also expected to cover the restoration of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz and efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
However, neither Washington nor Tehran has officially confirmed the report so far. While Iranian officials have previously stated that negotiations with the United States are continuing, they have stressed that no final agreement has yet been reached.
