Washington is preparing to make a $725 million payment to the UN budget, which will reduce the U.S. debt to the UN, APA reports citing Reuters.
As it clarifies, the State Department notified Congress that the Trump administration has begun the process of transferring $725 million to the UN. The publication states that "this is less than 20% of the more than $4 billion that the UN stated in May that the United States owes it." The American side insists that the US debt is significantly less.
