The Iranian threat is spreading beyond Israel to the Gulf and Europe as well, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, APA reports.
Rubio stated that Washington will continue maximum pressure on Iran.
The US Secretary of State warned that Tehran's threat is spreading beyond Israel to the Gulf and even Europe. He promised that the US will continue its support for Israel.
"The Iranian threat is spreading beyond Israel to the Gulf and Europe as well. We will continue maximum pressure on Iran. Iran possesses long-range missiles that can threaten the stability of the region and Europe. We encourage our European allies to impose sanctions against Iran."
Rubio stated that HAMAS must be destroyed as an armed force that can threaten regional peace and security.
"HAMAS can no longer continue its existence as an armed element."
Rubio added that all Israeli hostages in Gaza must be released.
