The United States administration is planning to allocate $2 billion in military aid to Taiwan through the Pentagon in the next fiscal year.
According to APA, this information is reflected in documents attached to the United States Department of Defense budget proposal for fiscal year 2027.
The department is requesting $2 billion from the United States Congress to support Taiwan.
It is expected that $1 billion of this amount will be allocated to strengthen Taiwan’s self-defense capabilities.
Another $1 billion is planned to be used to replace previously supplied US weapons.
