Two people were killed when a military helicopter crashed in central Texas, APA reports.
The incident occurred south of the village of Salado. Police were notified of the crash at 1:33 p.m. local time. Officers arriving at the scene found a large fire.
According to the US Army, the aircraft was an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter stationed at the nearby Fort Hood military base.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The US Army said its immediate priorities were securing the crash site and supporting response and recovery operations.
