Trump, waking up in China, says military campaign in Iran "to be continued!"

Just before 6 a.m. Friday in Beijing (6 p.m. ET on Thursday), President Donald Trump said that his military campaign against Iran is “to be continued!” — suggesting he is still strongly considering resuming attacks amid a fragile ceasefire, APA reports citing CNN.

Trump made the comment in a lengthy Truth Social post about Chinese leader Xi Jinping in which he seemed to bristle at the suggestion the US was a nation in decline and attacked his predecessor, former President Joe Biden.

“President Xi was not referring to the incredible rise that the United States has displayed to the world during the 16 spectacular months of the Trump Administration, which includes all-time high stock markets and 401K’s, military victory and thriving relationship in Venezuela, the military decimation of Iran (to be continued!)” Trump wrote.

Before Trump left for China, he said ceasefire with Iran was on “massive life support.”
