US President Donald Trump stated that the United States should not deplete its own stockpile of Tomahawk cruise missiles by supplying them to Ukraine, APA reports.
He noted that the issue of supplying American Tomahawks to Ukraine was discussed during his conversation with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. "We also need Tomahawks for the United States. We have plenty of them, but we need them," he said.
"I mean, we can't deplete our country's supply. So, you know, they're very important, they're very powerful and they're very accurate and they're very good, but we need them too, so I don't know what we can do about it," Trump added.
