US President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order to simplify regulations for US arms exports to foreign countries, APA reports citing Reuters news agency.
According to the agency’s sources, the US administration may make an official announcement in the coming weeks.
In line with the current legislation, the US administration is to seek congressional approval for arms sales exceeding $14 million, and for providing goods and services in the military sphere worth $50 million or more. The new regulations will raise the threshold to $23 million and $83 million, respectively.
