The next meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues of the Interdepartmental Center operating under the Coordination Headquarters established for the centralized resolution of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in Aghdam district, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.
The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant state institutions, as well as representatives of the President's Special Representative Offices and the Restoration, Construction and Management Services in Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli, Zangilan, Aghdara, Khojaly, Shusha, Lachin and Kalbajar districts, as well as Khankendi city.
The meeting discussed compliance with environmental requirements during the implementation of infrastructure projects in the Garabagh and East Zangezur economic regions, removal of green spaces, simplification of procedures for accessing local raw materials in the liberated territories, work carried out in the agricultural sector and solid household waste management.
