Trump says US will '100%' get Greenland

United States President Donald Trump stated during an interview on NBC News that the US will "get Greenland. Yeah, 100%," and that he has "absolutely" had conversations about annexing Greenland, APA reports.

Trump stated that there was a "good possibility that we could do it without military force," though he added that nothing was "off the table." When asked about the message the US acquisition of Greenland would send to the rest of the world, Trump said he didn't "really think about that." He clarified that "Greenland’s a very separate subject, very different. It’s international peace. It’s international security and strength."

Additionally, the US president said there were "ships sailing outside Greenland from Russia, from China and from many other places," adding that the US was "not going to allow things to happen that are going to be — that are going to hurt the world or the United States.”
