United States President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will do "whatever I want him to do" regarding the two countries' operation against Iran, APA reports.
Speaking to the press before boarding Air Force One to visit the US Coast Guard Academy, Trump insisted that Netanyahu is a "very good man" and criticized the Israeli public for its treatment of him, reminding that the latter is "a wartime prime minister." He also praised his own approval numbers in Israel, claiming that he could run for prime minister there if he wanted.
Furthermore, Trump stressed that he is "not in a hurry" to make a final decision on Iran, adding that "we're going to give this one more shot." He also reiterated his dedication to reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
