Donald Trump's performance as US president in the first 100 days after his inauguration is in line with what 7 out of 10 Americans expected, shows he results of a public opinion poll conducted by the NORC research center for the Associated Press, APA reports.
Only 3 out of 10 respondents said their expectations were not met by Trump's actions.
As the agency notes, this does not mean that most Americans are satisfied with the president's policies.
44% of respondents believe that Trump has misjudged his priorities, while 24% agree with his choices. 62% believe that the United States is heading in the wrong direction under Trump.
Overall, 4 out of 10 respondents approve of Trump's presidency.
Nearly a third of Americans said they had a favorable opinion of Vice President JDVens.
Four in 10 respondents have a favorable opinion of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy.
It should be noted that the survey was conducted from April 17 to 21 and more than 1,200 Americans participated.
