In accordance with President Ilham Aliyev's instructions, the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation continues.
Those relocating to the city of Aghdam and the village of Guzeykhirman in Khojavend district are families who had been temporarily accommodated in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.
At this stage, 70 families comprising 238 people have been relocated to the city of Aghdam, while 8 families comprising 34 people have moved to Guzeykhirman village in Khojavend district.
Residents returning to their native lands expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive care and support provided by the state.
They also expressed their gratitude to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the country's territories from occupation, and prayed for the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this cause.
