Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to dialogue with everyone, including French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
"He will pick up the phone again. He is open to dialogue with everyone," the Kremlin spokesperson said in response to a question about what Putin would do if Macron or Merz called the Kremlin.
Asked whether Putin would be ready to hold a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Peskov replied that "no one has called yet."
It should be noted that Putin held phone calls with the President of Finland and the Prime Minister of Norway a few days ago. The phone calls were reportedly initiated by the European side.
