U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during his speech at the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, stated that the implementation of the TRIPP project will create important prospects for Azerbaijan and Armenia, APA reports.
He noted that over the past 16–17 months, the activities of the State Department have been marked by both significant diplomatic achievements and complex international challenges.
According to him, the long-standing confrontation between Azerbaijan and Armenia has now come to an end, culminating in the signing of a memorandum that envisages the creation of the TRIPP project, which promises new opportunities for both countries.
“This memorandum was signed by me, and it lays the foundation for a new prosperity route that will create significant economic and transportation opportunities for Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Rubio emphasized.
