In Colombia’s capital Bogotá, protesters attacked the US Embassy, injuring four police officers using arrows, explosives, and incendiary devices, Colombian President Gustavo Petro posted on his “X” account, APA reports.
“I ordered maximum caution around the US Embassy in Bogotá. Unfortunately, after reaching an agreement with the People’s Congress to lift the blockade, a more radical group attacked the police guarding the embassy. Several young people were injured by arrows. The embassy was protected, as I had promised,” he wrote.
