The Pentagon cannot confirm reports that four US soldiers died when returning from a military exercise at a training range in Lithuania, a spokesperson for the US Armed Forces told TASS, APA reports.
"We are unable to confirm those reports. The search for the missing soldiers continues," the official said, commenting on reports about the death of US troops.
The M88 armored recovery vehicle that the four US soldiers were operating during the exercise has been found, the Pentagon confirmed. The US military said earlier that "the vehicle was discovered submerged in a body of water in a training area."
