Shots fired at Texas airport

Baku-APA. Shots were fired Thursday at an airport in the U.S. state of Texas, APA reports quoting US media.

The shooting happened at a terminal at the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, according to the local TV channel abc13.

According to the report, local police confirmed that at around 1: 35 p.m. local time, Thursday, they were informed of a "discharge of firearm" at Terminal B at the airport.

And the shooting took place at the ticketing area of the airport and one armed man suffered at least one gunshot wound. The man, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital, according to the report.

His fate was unknown. Police said they were looking for anyone else around the airport who may be involved in the shooting.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop for all flights at the airport, the report said.
