Billionaire Elon Musk claimed that Twitter was "simply an arm of the government" and a "state publication" before he acquired the social media company, APA reports citing Teletrader.
In a Joe Rogan podcast released on Tuesday, Musk alleged that, at "old Twitter," there was an "oppression of any views that would, I would say, be considered middle of the road," and especially those that are even "mildly right."
"Republicans were suppressed at ten times the rate of Democrats," he claimed. "Old Twitter was fundamentally controlled by the far left," he added.
