A magnitude 6.2 earthquake was recorded off the coast of Fiji, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said, APA reports.
According to him, the epicenter of the tremors was located 467 km southeast of the island republic's capital, Suva, home to approximately 77,000 people. The epicenter was located at a depth of 511 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage. No tsunami threat was issued.
